Charlotte’s textile journey started at Hudderfield University where she specialised in embroidery and produce a final exhibition based around the theme 'Little Girls and their Mummy's Pearls'. Her inspiration for this project was nostalgic memories of childhood which led to a collection of highly embellished girl's clothing and accessories.
Soon after this she was asked to exhibit her work at New Designers Exhibition and as part of the Graduate Showcase at The Knitting and Stitching show and this was the starting point for her very exciting career.

Charlotte has now has been working in the textile industry for over eight years and has enjoyed every minute! She has worked with market leaders such as Coats Crafts to develop website projects and shared her talent with craft enthusiasts by demonstrating her ideas and techniques at festivals and exhibitions. Her creations have often been featured in many high profile textile magazines and she even been a guest presenter on T.V shopping channels such as QVC and Create and Craft. 

Charlotte is a part-time lecturer in Fashion and Textiles and delivers workshops in her local community and beyond. She has taught classes at the world –famous Liberty in London and John Lewis on Oxford Street, at many schools and universities and is a tutor on a regional Creative Enterprise Scheme.  Charlotte has even facilitated workshops on board P&O cruises ships on Voyages to the Norwegian Fjords, The Caribbean and the Canary Islands. 

Her biggest achievement has been to write and publish six contemporary craft books featuring some of her favourite sewing, embroidery, up-cycling textile techniques.
